NottNOISE x Nonclassical

NottFAR is delighted to announce a partnership with new music promoter, record label and club night Nonclassical in bringing the latest edition of NottNOISE online. Launched in 2019, NottNOISE started as a quarterly night at Rough Trade Nottingham showcasing new experimental music and creative sound practices from the Midlands. With venues closed in the wake of the pandemic, we’re pleased to work with Nonclassical in bringing the programme online.

We’ll be presenting a series of specially-recorded performances, with a new selection released every Friday starting 6 November through to 18 December, encompassing contemporary classical music, electronica, noise, and sound art. The programme will feature performances from AJA, Stephen Crowe, Cobalt Duo, Dushume, Dirty Electronics, Galvanize Ensemble, Pascall Meyer, Simon Paterson, Primary, and Xenia Pestova Bennett. Featured composers include Frank Abbot, David Jackman, Rebecca Lee, Helen Papaioannou, Elizabeth Kelly, Duncan MacLeod, Fumiko Miyachi, and Michael Wolters, among others.
